Remember most activities are planned by parents, so if you would like to plan an event GO FOR IT!
New guidelines for event coordinators are as follows:
1. All events should have an RSVP. The RSVP method is up to the coordinator’s discretion.
2. Include the RSVP list in your reminder email.
3. Please have a designated meetup spot for everyone at the beginning of the event.
4. Have the list of participants and have a “soft check-in”.
Our goal is to increase participation, decrease liability, and have more security during events. Coordinators should NOT feel they have to stand guard and keep tabs of who comes and goes. After the soft check-in feel free to leave a clipboard or pad for families to sign themselves in.
